    Installation problems

    Hi:
I just downloaded ATutor 1.3.1 and just cannot seem to get it to install at all. I get stopped at step 2. Here is the message I get:
    "Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@frenchasasecondlanguage.org and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. "

I am trying to install on my host's Linux server, PHP 4.3.4; MySql 4.0.15

I have re-installed twice with fresh downloaded files. I was just wondering if the new installer was working properly. I am hoping to add it to my Postnuke site.

Any ideas on how to install?
    Thanks for any help!

    Marc

    Misconfigured

The installer is working properly. Your server may be misconfigured.

Are you using Apache? On what OS?

    Installation Problems

    Hi Greg:

Yes ... apache is installed at my hosting service 123ehost and the OS is Linux.

Any ideas would be great. I am working on a site:

    www.frenchasasecondlanguage.org

    Under PostNuke

    Thanks for any help!

    Cheers

    See Mandrake Thread

See, perhaps, the solution in the following thread.

    Installed -- Login problems

I have managed to install ATutor and am now having Login errors.

The ATutor files are being called directly from www.frenchasasecondlanguage.org/ATutor

The www.frenchasasecondlanguage.org site is a PostNuke site ... just in case this make a difference.

I have checked the config.inc.php and everythis is in order; I have checked the MySQL files and they have all been created ... the database is shared with the other PostNuke file and the ATutor database fields are properly prefixed.

I would like to eventually get this running as a module in my PostNuke site. At this point I am just trying to login directly.

    Any ideas?

    My Host uses:

MySql 4.0.15; PHP version 4.3.4; Apache version 1.3.29 and Linux Redhat 7.2

    Cheers

    Marc
