Installation problem

  Installation problem

  operating system - Ubuntu 5..10
  version of ATutor - 1.5.3.2
  versions of php - 5.0.5-2
  version of mysq l - 4.0.24
  webserver & version - Apache 2.0.54
  copies of error messages -
  changes to default settings -
  web browser being used - Firefox
  and anything else relevant -
  
  Got installation error regarding the version of MySQL. It states that mysql is disabled and that MySQL 4.0.2+ not found.
  
  Please be it known that i have already installed DeskNow successfully the reason why am i wondering how and why i got the error.
  
  What options should i take?
  
  Any help will be appreciated.

  I am not sure how DeskNow applies. Does it use MySQL?
  
  ATutor not being able to find MySQL is almost always because MySQL has not been setup properly, or the access information entered during ATutor installation is incorrect. Please double check your MySQL installation. Are you able to access it outside of ATutor?
