  Problem with the recommended settings for phpini

  Things to describe:
  operating system - Suse Linux 9.3
  version of ATutor - 1.5.2
  versions of php - 4.3.10
  version of mysq l - 4.1.10a
  webserver & version - Apache/2.0.53 (Linux/SUSE)
  
  Hello everybody!
  
  After changing my php.ini the way it is recommended in the ATutor handbook PHP doesn't work anymore. The problem seems to be caused by this line:
  
  zlib.output_compression = On
  
  What do I make wrong? zlib is already installed... :-(

  This would only occur if your entered the values incorrectly, or you broke the file in some way. If you are using a windows editor, make sure it is set to produce Unix end of line characters.

  I don't think that this causes the problem. I did change the other values and it works. Only after changing the value mentioned in my posting it didn't work anymore. When I change it back, everything is fine again.
  
  I use the internal editor of WinSCP to male the changes.
