If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

I am just new here and new in installing this kind of software. I have downloaded Atutor in my pc and it appears to be a winzip file, so I tried unzipping it but I get the winzip error "Error reading header after processing 0 entries."

    Re: How To Install??? Help!!!

Also, the file should be name ATutor-1.5.2.tar.gz. If windows has stripped off the .gz file extension, manually add it back on then try unzipping again.

If that does not work, you might try another zip program such as winrar.

    Re: How To Install??? Help!!!

It still doesn't work. The error still appears. Can I just unzip online in my website?

    Re: How To Install??? Help!!!

Upload it to your web site then use the following command at the command prompt

    tar xzvf ATutor-1.5.2.tar.gz

(make sure the .gz file extension is included)

    Re: How To Install??? Help!!!

If you are on a hosted system, ask your ISP for your mysql login/password. See the installation instructions (step 2) for details about mysql privileges required by this users.

The step by step is outlined in the installation instructions. Please read it. Again.

You need to turn off register_globals in the php.ini file.
