Sudent enrolled but where

    Sudent enrolled but where

When I get a mail that a student have requested to be enrolled in one of my courses I miss a indication on the "My Courses" page (atutor/users/index.php) on wich course it is the student wish to enroll.

Is it right that I have to go through every of my courses and check the "Pending Enrollment" on the page "Manage Enrollment"?

In the earlier versions of ATutor I believe that you where able to see pending enrollments for all your courses at the instructors start page.

operating system - Red Hat Linux 4
    version of ATutor - 1.5.2
    versions of php - 4.3.9
    version of mysq l - 4.1.12
    webserver & version - Apache/2.0.52 (Red Hat)
    copies of error messages -
    changes to default settings -
web browser being used - Firefox and IE
    and anything else relevant -

    Re: Sudent enrolled but where?

The course in which the student is enrolling is listed in the enrollment message. If it is not there let us know, sending us a copy of the message so we can track down the problem.

There is other work needed on My Start page. When that happens we'll add in a Pending Enrolments link

    Re: Sudent enrolled but where?

There is no indication in the enrollment mail of wich course the enrollment is intended for. I have attached an enrollment request mail (.eml from Thunderbird).

I'm wondering: could it be something with the danish translation. Missing/deleted variable? I used the danish one from the ATutor website and I think I converted it to utf-8.

Thank you for looking in to the problem!

    Re: Sudent enrolled but where?

Yes it does seem to associated with Danish translation. I will add it to the bug tracker. It might be a little while before we can look into it, so you may want to investigate yourself. If you discover the problem, please post it here.

    Re: Student enrolled but where?

Thanks for looking into it and guiding me in the rigth direction of the problem.
It was a missing "s" after a % in the translation. I corrected it in the online translation for future translations.
I corrected it on my system by finding (in table "AT_language_text" in the ATutor database) the "enrol_messagenew" and putting an "s" in place (after the first %).
Now the e-mail with request for enrollment also tells wich course the enrollment is meant for.
