  TinyMCE editor strips bgcolor

  If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.
  
  Things to describe:
  operating system - windowsXp
  version of ATutor - 1.5.2
  versions of php -4.3.10
  version of mysq l - 4.1.9
  webserver & version - Apache 1.3.33
  copies of error messages -
  changes to default settings -
  web browser being used -
  and anything else relevant -
  
  Is there any way to get the TinyMCE editor to stop stripping out bgcolor when it saves the content ?

  We are aware that TinyMCE modifies existing HTML. This is something you should ask the people who created TinyMCE.
  
  That said, you should not be using bgcolor, but instead using stylesheet elements to control background colours. Bgcolor has been removed from the HTML specification.

  Actually it is for a Flash component that requires it as a parameter.
  Just thought since you distribute the editor, you might have some insight but will check with the developer.
