IIS6 Mysql disabled and not found but running

Having problems with the first stage of the installation. MySQL is not enabled. I have searched these forums but have not found anything to guide me to completion.

I have been looking at Joomla, Mambo, Drupal, Moodle and others but love the modules of ATutor. Thank you!

    Things to describe:
    operating system - Windows 2003 Server (IIS6)
    version of ATutor - 1.5.2
    versions of php - 5.1.2
    version of mysq l - 5
    webserver & version - IIS6
copies of error messages - MySQL 3.23+ or 4.0.16+
    changes to default settings -
web browser being used - firefox
and anything else relevant - I have granted all to root and administrator on localhost; flushed privileges, etc.

I am using the cgi version of php on IIS6

All other options are enabled and I believe that it could be a MYSQL permission thing but as I have tried to grant to all (test server) and it still doesn't work, I am a little frustrated.

Mysql is under the Windows program files directory.

    Thanks for anyone's time.
    John

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

ATutor has never worked with IIS 6, which has limited support for PHP. You may want to upgrade to IIS7. Or better, use Apache as your webserver
