I am using Win XP and atutor version 1.5.2
php version is 5.1.2
mysql 5.0
apache 2.0.55
Whenever I try to enter a new course (or change something in the "welcome course") I get the same error
Field 'preferences' doesn't have a default valueDB Error
using IE 6.0
Please help I need this application running ASAP :)

+ I just noticed this
(specifications same as above)
when I enter Welcome course, all pages ar blank except Content page.
What do I do?

I don't see anything that might suggest what the problem might be, except perhaps you are using very new versions of php/apache/mysql.
Have you tried reinstalling and fresh downloaded version of 1.5.2?
Also try using the EasyPHP bundle, available on the ATutor downloads page.
