  Export course without the actual files

  Hi,
  
  I tried to export course data containing links to files but the actual files shouldn't be included into the zip archive.
  
  That's because I want to import this data into many other courses and if some of the referenced files become outdated I want to overwrite them with a new version only once and not in every course.
  
  Is there a way to do that?

  try import backup

  if you're using the export to create similar courses, i'd suggest using backups instead. that way you can choose which parts you want to include in your new course, during import.
