How to import existing html lessons

    Hi to all!

We currently have a number of existing lessons in html format which we are presently hosting in our local LAN webserver. We're seeing ATutor as a means of organizing our classes and lessons since we already have enough computers for our students. How do we put those existing lessons in html format into ATutor as the content without composing/redesigning it again in Atutor's editor? Or is there another way which entails less work putting it into Atutor?

    Thanks.

    Paste from file

Because your HTML files are not assembled in a standardized format (e.g SCORM or IMS packages) you will need to import them one-by-one. You can use the paste from file feature in the content editor to pull the HTML files into ATutor. You will also need to upload the images etc. that link into those files.

Once you have all your files recreated in ATutor, then you will be able to package them in a standard format and move them around easily, or move them into other standardized systems.

    Batch upload/Directory upload

Importing it one by one takes a lot of time then. Is it possible in the future to include or modify the import tool so that importing a whole directory is possible?

    Thanks.

    Zip upload unzip

Zip your files, upload them, then unzip them.
