Installation System Requirements Error messages do not make sense

    operating system - Unix
    version of ATutor - 1.5RC2
    version of php - 4.3.10
    version of mysql - 4.0.20
    webserver & version - Apache 1.3.29 (Unix)
    Web browser - Explorer 6.0

Error message says that File Upload is 'Off', when in fact it is 'On', and post_max_size is blank, when in fact it is 8M, both according to my phpinfo report. All of the file and directory permissions have been set as per installation instructions. I'm puzzled. Any thoughts?
    :(

    php.ini

Thanks for your bug report. The configuration behaviour in PHP was changed without notice.

This has been fixed and will be available in 1.5 when it's released. A RC3 will be available tomorrow that you're welcome to try.
