    security in ATutor

Is important for us and our project to know if the system(ATutor) guarantees any kind of security (cryptography) of all the information that navigate in Internet, like the password of our users and information like this. If yes, what kind of measure of security have you adopt?

    Things to describe:
    operating system -fedora core 3
    version of ATutor -1.4.2
    versions of php -5.0.2
    version of mysq l -4.0.21-
    XAMPP-1.4.9a

    Re: security in ATutor

    See the following thread:
    http://atutor.ca/view/7/4732/1.html

The recent minor security issues identified in 1.5RC1, regarding form input validation in a few places, have been dealt with and will be available in the 1.5 stable release.

You will want to implement an SSL based installation of ATutor for full security.

Being GPL software we can make no gaurantees outside a contracted agreement. We do however make every effort to ensure security.
