  If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.
  
  The backup facility works very well in the above version if file sizes are quite small. However, I have a file which is 1.05MB and it does not back up using zip or other software. It only has the small windows icon and it's properties shows it is a file of some sorts. I cannot open it. Is 999KB the limit for backups?

  Set PHP & Course Properties

  In php.ini make sure upload_max_filesize and post_max_size are sufficeintly large.
  
  Also make sure the maximum upload file size is set high enough through the administrator's course properties screen.
