    Changing content DIR

I have installed Atutor 1.4.2 in Linux with apache and Mysql.
I am trying to change the Content DIR, so it will be outside the access from the internet.
Today the aututor is installed in:
    /www/hosts/www.interactiva.com.ar/docroot/jbroide/ATutor
    the CONTENT DIR:in
    '/www/hosts/www.interactiva.com.ar/docroot/jbroide/cursos/

    and it works fine.
But when I change the 'AT_CONTENT_DIR' to
    '/home/jbroide/cursos/
the file manager tells me Access Denied.
The home/jbroide/cursos/ has the 777 chmod
Does anyone have any idea of what is goign on?

    Thanks you very much
    jbroide

    symbolic links

Make sure there are no symbolic links in the path to your content directory.

I assume you have copied the content directory from ...docroot/jbroide/coursos/ to /home/jbroide/cursos

    Symbolic Links

    Hi Greg
    thanks for the information..
    About the symbolik lins
Yes I am sure there are not symbolic Links:

And about if i had copied the contens of the folder, I hadnt . But I do not need the courses that I have in the old folder.
so I have deleted all of them.

    Reinstall

There has to be a content directory, and the web server needs to be able to write to it (chmod a+rwx content/).

Reinstall, and set up the content directory as instructed in step 5 to point to the location in your home directory. Make sure that directory is writable.
