  Import language pack french v 142

  Hi,
  
  I'm a teacher in France and trying to create a cours site for my students.
  I uploaded ATutoe (ver. 1.4.2) [no problem]
  
  Then, when trying to import the French language pack (atutor.1.4.2.fr) through the Language manager (logged in as administrator) I get the following (It was the same when trying to import other language pack) :
  
  Warning: set_time_limit(): Cannot set time limit in safe mode in /var/www/free.fr/c/4/leapdavid.cours/admin/import_lang.php on line 24
  
  Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10000001 bytes) in /var/www/free.fr/c/4/leapdavid.cours/admin/import_lang.php on line 81
  
  At home, on my computer (W2000, EasyPhp), I had no problem.

  complement and end : Import language pack (french v. 1.4.2)

  Well,
  
  I unzipped the language pack and tried to import it through the PhpMyAdmin import manager.
  
  After several trials, I succeeded. Now it works.
  
  But I don't unterstand yet why the "natural" method didn't work.

  safemode off

  safemode needs to be off, I'm guessing.
  
  We need more information about the system the problem is occuring on to help, as asked for in the message area in the forum posting form..
