Glossay and HTML

    Glossay and HTML

    Hello,

    I am using the following:
    ATutor 1.4.2
    php4.3.9
    Apache1.3.33
    Internet Explorer 6.0
    WindowsXP

Some of my glossary definitions are written using html.

I understand that there are two ways to view the definition of the glossary term: (1) view just one definition in a pop-up window, or (2) view a separate page with all the glossaary terms.

When I view the glossary definition in a pop-up window, the html is interpreted, i.e. some items would be displayed in bold, others in italic, etc. That is the way I would expect it to work.

But, when I view the separate glossary page (for example by choosing Tools -> Glossary), the html is NOT interpreted, so I would get the html code explicitly on the page.

This makes for a difficult-to-read glossary page. Is there any way to fix this, i.e. have html be interpreted in the glossary page?

    Thank you,

    Inna

    ATutor codes

The glossary does not currently support HTML. You could use the ATutor codes to add basic formatting to glossary items. See the documentation for more about codes.
