    importing Glossary items

    Hello,

    I am using the following:

    ATutor 1.4.2
    php4.3.9
    Apache1.3.33
    Internet Explorer 6.0
    WindowsXP

I am working on uploading a course onto ATutor and I have to upload the glossary items. Do I have to go manually through the text and add the special syntax([?] item[/?]) to all the glossary items? Is there an easier way to do that?
Does anyone have a script they could share that does it?

    Thanks,

    Inna

    Manually

There is no standard format for glossary items, so you probably won't find a utility to automatically import them . Entering them into the ATutor glossary manually is probably your only option (though I'm sure a script could be created if you know some php, and know the format of the items you want to import)

    importing Glossary items

    Greg,
    Thanks for your reply!

Yes, I have written a script to enter all the glossary items to the database.

The next step is to include references to the glossary items throughout the course content. Any suggestions there. other then doing it manually?

    Thanks,

    Inna
