  Creating accounts

  Hi!
  
  I (as the admin) would like to create the user accounts myself and not have the possibility for users to register themselfs. I can't find that in the "HowTo". Is there a simple way to do that?

  Users register themselves

  Currently users create their own account.
  
  ATutor is open source so you can modify this if you like. We may add such an option in a future release, but it is not in our current plans.

  Same need for creating accounts

  This maybe more suitable for the feature request forum. But, I just want to let the Atutor team that we also prefer NOT to have end users register. Perhaps, a batch program that the instructor can run to register all students at once will be nice.

  On the list

  OK. It's on the todo list.
  
  In the meantime, you can make a course private, which requires a student to request enrollment and recieve approval from the instructor before access to a course is granted.
