copy files to server instead of upload

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
Operating system ATutor is installed on - ubuntu 14.04
    ATutor version -2.2
    Patch #s applied -
    ATutor theme name -
    PHP version -5.5.9
    MySQL version - 5.5
    Webserver & version - apache 2.4.7
    Copies of error messages -
    Changes to default settings -
    Web browser being used -various
    ...and anything else relevant -

    Good day guys

    One more question regarding ATutor.

Is there an optionor method whereby you can upload the video files for the training courses directly to the server and then associate it with specific courses.

We have quite a lot of training material that we need to create , and uploading the files via the browser is going to take quote a long time.

Can someone perhaps confirm if there is anything like that available already?

    Regards

Re: copy files to server instead of upload

You could use an FTP client.

You may be better off loading your video into a service like YouTube, then linking it into your content.

See the handbook for details on using the [media] tag.
