There is now a preview version of ATutor 2.2 available in the Google Compute Engine, that updates regularly with the latest code for a soon to be released makeover of ATutor.

No firm date yet. Maybe late March.
There have big changes in this version, so we're going to leave it in Beta for a litle longer than typical to give plenty of time for people to get their feedback/bug reports in.

How close to release is ATutor 2.2 beta 1?? Just doing some major overhauls now and would like to incorporate this version.

Very soon. We're still collecting feedback.
You could help by installing a version of 2.2 from the downloads page and test the feature you typically use. Or if you'd rather, you can test with the demo site, or setup a site on ATutorSpaces, which is using v2.2.
