I am having trouble determining where to place the PayPal button. I was under the assumption that I could use one pay pal button as the payment option for all courses. However, I cannot find where (page/Section) to insert the html code for the Buy Now button Is this controlled at the Administer level or at the Instructor level?

You just need to enter your Paypal account information, for which the button was created, into the payment module configuration screen. You don't need to insert the HTML.
Make sure the module is enabled. A Payments tab should appear at the nav tabs at the top of the administrator site.

This does not help. I see a paypa button at the bottom of the payment.php screen. Is this where the PAYNOW button should appear in order for the users to be able to pay and after payment return to the page?

That is the button to pay through PayPal. No Pay Now button will appear.

I will use the one that came wiht the system since it works. The question remains, once the buyer has pais, how do I get the buyer to return to the site. I continually get payment FAILED even though it shows paid in PAyPay. How do I pass the success of those variabls back to Atutor so that they can be recorderd?
