Blocking Students from Choosing a Theme

Blocking Students from Choosing a Theme

Hi, I'm new to aTutor and have a pretty simple question, I hope ;)

I would like to prevent students from changing their theme from the default theme established by the admin.

I can't find any mentions of this in documentation and I'm starting to get a little worried that it won't be possible. Perhaps I can comment out the option on the student preferences page? If so, where can I locate this file and will it break anything if I do change it?

My superiors do not want students to have the option to choose the default aTutor theme - which I can't delete because of dependencies. Can I simply disable the default aTutor theme without breaking our custom theme?

Thank you so much for your time and help - its much appreciated. I'm sorry if I went about asking my question in the wrong area - please forgive a noob :)

Re: Blocking Students from Choosing a Theme

I must add that the instructors still want the aTutor default theme - they just don't want their students to be able to choose it. Thank you again!

Re: Blocking Students from Choosing a Theme

You can turn off all but the default theme in Admin>System Preferences>Themes. The theme would still be listed, but could not be changed.

If you wanted to remove it completely you'd need to edit the template file to remove or hide the theme section in:
