When an Instructor sets a course "Properties -> Access" to "Private" availability and an Administrator creates a Courses > Auto Enrolment link to that course on the ATutor demo web site (my website too), I am finding after registration, Enrolment is Pending Approval.
Is this right?
The manual said "those courses will be added to the student's My Start Page, and he or she will be logged in."

If its a private course, you'll need to approve the enrolment requests. Auto enroll just eliminates the enrolment step after registering.
You may want to turn on the email notification for new enrolments, in course Properties.
