    Tests

    Created a dev 2.0 server to eventually replace our prod. unit. When you create questions for a test on an announcment it take it but then does not show any test. So if I for example make a true or false question the question is there but no test for the questions and no answers. Just Question 1: a b c d e etc...

    Make an announment . It shows there but there is no text in it.

    It's Patch #5

    I did some testing on another server and can recreate the problem. As soon as I apply patch # 5 the text in all tests question go away.

    I am not too sure if I understand the problem correctly. You created a test on an announcement? I am not too sure how you created a test on an announcement.
    Test is created through Test&Survey; announcement is created through Announcement.

    Can you try and see if you can reproduce this on our demo? Thanks.

    Sorry. What I have found ( And can recreate) is that if you install patch #5 all the text in announcements and within tests disappears . Other issues also occure like the photo album icon breaking.

    OS - CentOS

    Linux 2.6.18-194.11.3.el5

    Patch #5 does replace the primary output formatting script. Perhaps something changed that does not work on CentOS systems. I'm unable to reproduce the problem on out test systems (CentOS isn't one of them).

    You can try reverting the patch. In the patcher, see the install messages associated with the patch #5 for details on how to revert back.

    There were no errors is the odd thing. But it happens every single time. I use this config.


    Operating system ATutor is installed on - CentOS 5.4
    Linux 2.6.18-194.11.3.el5


    ATutor version - 2.0

    Patch #s applied - All but 3 and 5
    ATutor theme name - 1.6 Default
    PHP version - 5.1.6

    MySQL version - 5.0.77

    Webserver & version - Apache 2.0
    Copies of error messages - N\A
    Changes to default settings - We have a fairly extensive course category setup.
    Web browser being used - I.E. 6 and 8

    Is your test/announcement all in HTML?

    Can you also give me an example of your announcement/test that disappeared after patch#05, so I can try reproducing it on my system?
