Course length specification for certify

    Course length specification for certify

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

Greg and Harris, first of all, thanks for your help in solving our previous problems with 2.0 update (jpeg files and php 5.3).

My question now is related to course length specification, in order to being able to reflect this issue in certificates (Certify module).

We think that this issue is specially relevant in e-learning environments (as for learning, a course of 60 teaching hours has not the same weight of another of 600) but we can not find a field to register this when creating a course in ATutor. The only way that we have found to reflect that on a certificate is to put it on the course title, for example "Course about data quality (equivalent to 60 teaching hours)".

Would it be possible to register this issue in any field in course properties in order to reflect it on the resulting certificates?

    Thanks again,

    Things to describe:

Re: Course length specification for certify

Adding the hours into an existing field of a certificate is the only option in the current version of the module. A little programming could change that. You might talk to the creators of the module, and see if that's something they'd add:
