Trying to upload a SCORM quiz not working

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
Operating system ATutor is installed on - Win 2000
    ATutor version - 1.6.3
    Patch #s applied -
    ATutor theme name -
    PHP version - recent
    MySQL version - recent
    Webserver & version - win 2000
    Copies of error messages -
Changes to default settings - none
Web browser being used - IE 8
    ...and anything else relevant -

I log into the atutor as an instructor, click Manage, click Tests & Surveys, then use the Import Test tool and something imports (a new Test is listed in the list) but no questions come over.

The SCORM creation software I am using is Atrixware SCORM Quiz Maker - attached is the zip file I am uploading. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

SCORM based tests need to be presented with the SCORM Package module. Tests & Surveys only import IMS QTI based tests.

I tried importing your package into the SCORM module, and it seems to work fine.

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

Is the SCORM Package module another module I need to install that isnt part of the base package? It's not in my list of installed modules...or am i not looking in the right location (modules tab)

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

As the admin, under modules, click Install Modules to get a list of available modules. Install SCORM Packages

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

    Whats this error mean?[AT_INFOS_CANNOT_CONNECT_MOD_SERVER]

Is the system trying to make a connection to the Internet?

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

If you are unable to connect to the module database, you can download the module from:

    http://www.atutor.ca/atutor/modules/index.php

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

Actually, its not on the module download site. I'll have to look into that.

Check your internet connection, and your firewall.

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

OK - my Internet connection is fine, and when logged into the server, I can get to the internet, so the firewall/connection settings work for a user logged in. Should the program be running under a specific security context to make the call to the net?

Right now I have Anonymous and Integrated Windows Authentication enabled (see attached) - so the IUSER account running the app has no authority to hit the internet...

What should the security settings of the application be set to?

Re: Trying to upload a SCORM quiz - not working

Any chance you can make it available on the module download site?

thanks! Got it installed and enabled.

Now getting an error when trying to upload a scorm quiz:
    The following errors occurred:

    Pittsburgh Steelers!

Your package works fine on our Linux setup. My guess is your trouble is Windows related. If you are planning to setup a production system, you probably want to stay away from windows. And definately stay away from IIS. XAMP setups on windows are not bad for a test environment.

Linux/Apache is a much better environment for running PHP apps.

I don't recall offhand where the logs are on windows, I don't have a system handy to check. Look under logs in the Apache directory, and under the PHP directory.
