Student Tracking Marks etc

    Student Tracking Marks etc

I know you usually want to see all sorts of technical information about where the software runs - but my question is different.

How do I see who has logged on a SCORM package and for how long? How do I see that they took the test and what mark?

Can someone point me to documentation so I can learn this?

    Thanks.

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

    ATutor Version:
    1.6.2. Check Latest Version.
    PHP Version:
    5.2.9
    MySQL Version:
    5.0.81-community-log
    OS:
    Linux 2.6.28-10.7.intel.IGB.BHsmp

And just in case you do need the technical info!

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

There is no tracking going on currently for SCORM packages.

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

Is this going to happen - ie: is it on the development list?

If I develop a quiz in Articulate for example - how do I see the results?

    Ouch!

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

Maybe not. The SCORM module is a 3rd party module. It's developer is no longer around (or rather no longer funded).

We have been focusing our own efforts on IMS standards, which are more robust than SCORM. If someone were to put some funds to do some more work on the SCORM module, I might be able to convince it original developer do some more work. Or perhaps someone else would like to adopt and maintain the module.

When ATutor 1.6.4 comes out in the next few days (beta), much of what SCORM has to offer will be standard in ATutor content.

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

And, why not create ATutor tests instead of Articulate. ATutor saves data for its test. And tests can be imported/exported, or combined with content packages, or combined with common cartridges (in 1.6.4).

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

Does Atutor (assuming I create tests in it) allow me to do graphs and averages and other summary review of results? I can look at the individual results by student?

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

Yes, ATutor provides basic stats, or you can export test data and work with it in a stats app etc.

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

OK - so created a TEST, Created Categories, Created Questions, Assigned Questions to TEST and then logged out and took the test as a student.

It doesn't show as submitted but I did take the test.
    What did I miss?

    Thanks

    Re: Student Tracking Marks etc..

Try again. Check test settings. Read Tests & Survey in the handbook.
