Getting Live connect error when viewing SCOEM packages

We have two versions of Aristotle installed 1.6.3 in a test environment and ATutor v1.5.4 in a production enviroment.

Both show the same problems. When users who have a java version greater than Java version 6 update 11 they get live connect errors when attempting to load scorm packages. the scorm packages are created using Adobe Captivate, iSpring Presenter, and the MS/Thesis add-ins for word and powerpoint

This happens on all browsers I have tried, including both windows and linux platforms.

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

Re: Getting Live connect error when viewing SCOEM packages

    What's Aristotle?

The module was developed by a third party before Java 6 came along, though it has worked fine with 6 in the past. If its only just broken with the 11 update, perhaps its a Java issue. Find out if something was changed.

Unfortunately, there has not been enough interest or funds, for us to take over the development of the module. We're looking for someone to adopt it if you're interested.

Re: Getting Live connect error when viewing SCORM packages

Sorry, Internal name for ATutor. When we originally launched it they chose the name Aristotle for the server, instead of Atutor.

Re: Getting Live connect error when viewing SCORM packages

How much of a donation would be required for the ATutor team to work on this? We'd like to run SCORM courses, but the java-RTE only worked in one browser on one PC in our company...and it wasn't one in the IT dept. (I, too, believe that it's a java version problem)
