    Operating system ATutor is installed on -Linux
    ATutor version -1.5
    Patch #s applied -
    ATutor theme name -default
    PHP version -5.2.8
    MySQL version -
    Webserver & version -
    Copies of error messages -
    Changes to default settings -
    Web browser being used -
    ...and anything else relevant -




    Can we have different links being created for different sets of students(group of students)

    What are you trying to do, in detail?

    Links to what? From where?

    Thanks for the response.Sorry for my late response.

    On home page there is a link tab on which different links would be there.In that some of the links would be accessible to some students while other links would be accessible to another group of students.

    In short if there are three links google.com,yahoo.com,atutor.ca.And Suppose there are two groups formed say India,Canada.
    Then students of India Group should be able to acess only yahoo.com link ;while that of Canada group could acess only google.com and atutor.ca link.

    Is this possible in atutor.

    Also the fact that when we create a new group automatically a forum is created.so is there any way in which we can create links for that group.

    No, the links tools is not available as a group tool (yet).

    Group support could be programmed into the Links tool. Demand, time and funds dictate whether an extension like this gets added by us. Or, a community group takes on the work. If you have access to a php programmer, a few days or a week of work might be required to add group support. Our rate are listed on our services page, if you want to get an idea of the cost of developing such a feature.

    The other possibility is to manually post links to a group blog or forum.
