    Lost Admin Password

    I have installed Atutor on my server, got it running just right... now i have lost my admin password. my instructor account is working fine, but i cant get into my admin account... HELP!!!

    Patch #s applied - none
    ATutor theme name -
    PHP version - 5
    MySQL version -
    Webserver & version -
    Copies of error messages -
    Changes to default settings -
    Web browser being used -

    Hi Charles,

    Do you have access to the ATutor's database via phpMyAdmin or a similar tool?

    If you do, then go to the AT_admins table, find the row with your login name, and set new password.
    You'll need to select "SHA1" from the dropdown box right to the left from the field where you enter your new password.

    I could change the password of "AT_admin" but now it does not recognize the email that has been set in the configuration nor does the change work by completing the email in "My account" or accessing the "AT_admins table".

    Please, how can I re-establish the Admin mail account

    Hello, I have the same problem. I cant fill in the Things to describe because I can only log in as instructor or student. I can't access admin because I lost my admin log in and password. I hope you can help. THanks.

    You would need to access the MySQL database and change the password manually. It's in the admin table.

    Be sure to save in SHA1 format.
