    Download a fresh copy and install again.

    are you mean to dowanload a nightly build?.
    when I set the Default Preferences,it crash.I put the error pic.

    Download another fresh copy from Sourceforge via:

    http://www.atutor.ca/atutor/download.php


    I do not see any error message in the image you attached.


    Provide the rest of the details about the system ATutor is installed on. Particularly the Web server and its version.
