    Take Test No questions found

    Hello all,

I'm using ATutor version 1.6.2 and I'm finding some problems in creating my first course.

It seems everything is all right, I have a course and I have a test associated with. When I select the test from the "Content Navigation" box on the left side I get the page "Take Test" showing properties of that test and a button "Begin test".

However, when i click on that button I read "No questions found".

In the question DB I see the questions but I can't "associate' them to the course.

I've read a lot of documentation but I can't understand what is going wrong.

    Can you help me?

    Ciao,
    Max

I have found what I feel is a bit of a work around to this. Export my questions go to create course cancel then use the import option. Import my questions then edit the test to the preferences I want

Re: Take Test No questions found

After you created the test, did you add questions to the test? As far as I can tell test and questions are working fine.

Select the test from the list in the test manager, click Questions, then Add Questions.

Re: Take Test No questions found

Greg, I can't find any "add questions" link or button.

I'm using a user whose 'account status' is "Instructor" (the user I used to create the course). I go to the course home and click on "Manage".

I select "test & surveys" and I can see my test. I select it and click on "Questions", in the page that opens I read "None Found" but can't find any link/button to add questions.

DirtRider, before trying your suggestion (I agree with you it would be quite cumbersome) I'd like to see if I can do it using a more intuitive way.

    Ciao,
    Max

Re: Take Test No questions found

Can't do much with a student account. It needs to be an instructor or a student who has test creation privileges.

Have you read the section in the Instructor Handbook on creating tests?

Re: Take Test No questions found

I'm not sure what you are doing wrong, but tests work fine. You'll see I was able to create on in your test course.

    Read the handbook pages again.
