Files viewing or download create errors

Files viewing or download create errors

When using file manager, I am getting the following error when loading a PDF file. In fact any file causes the same error but with a different line of code.

    %PDF-1.4 % 5 0 obj <> stream x]K%*q;H#dI9qi5M&Y

Loading file pdf file outside of ATutor works.

How do I fix this issue?

    Thanks,

    - Soulhydration

Re: Files viewing or download create errors

Hi, how do you "load a PDF file", via "file storage" -> "edit" button?

Re: Files viewing or download create errors

Thank you for your reply! If I click on "File Storage" it pulls up a listing of documents I have uploaded via the "New File" link. I then select the file and click "Download". This moves me to page the gives me:

    %PDF-1.4 % 5 0 obj <> stream x]K%*q;H#dI9qi5M&Y

and nothing else. Also if I link to the file it gives me the same result.

    Any thoughts?

Seems like there's output printed out to screen before the download header is sent out. Did you modify the script to print or echo information?

Have you tried other pdf? Can you also confirm with us if other file type fails too? Does say, jpg, png, doc files fail as well?
