Re: Payments Module: Error in ATutor 1.6.2

I am using ATutor 1.6.2 and Payments module version 0.8

I have setup payments module to use Paypal and configured all settings as per Readme file. The problem is that after the payment is made on the paypal website and it redirects the user back to the Payments page, it shows "The following errors occurred: The Payment was cancelled or failed"

The Sandbox account shows that the payment was successful, however the Payments page shows no transaction ID and assumes no fees has been paid.

Any help or direction would be highly appreciated.

Note: I was using ATutor 1.5.4 with Payments, fine and even have used it for production.

    Thank you

    Best regards

Re: Payments Module: Error in ATutor 1.6.2

Its difficult to say what the problem might be. We've had to make several changes to the module because PayPal changes its API regularly. Perhaps that's the problem (again). Unfortunately we don't have the time right now to investigate.

It would be helpful if a community member currently using PayPal could offer input.

Re: Payments Module: Error in ATutor 1.6.2

    Thank You Greg,

I understand, and appreciate the great work you guys do. I have been using ATutor and it is just fantastic.

    More updates from my side...

I tried using the Production mode of Paypal and actually made a purchase using my Credit Card. This time the outcome was different. Although i still get the same error "Payment cancelled or failed" yet, i see that the Course Fees shows "Recieved", and shows the Transaction ID.

Also when i check in Admin, it shows the payment has been made.

I feel that the response_paypal_user script is pointing to failed even when the transaction is successful...Is there any way i can show this as successfull, so that my visitors dont panic?

    Would really appreciate any input..

    Congratulations for the Social/Networking module!

    Best regards
