Time is NOT correct with System Time

I am running ATutor 1.6.2 on Linux FC9 with PHP 5.1.2 , MySQL and Apache.

The issue is the date and time is show correctly in Admin->System Pref

    Time Zone Offset = 0
    2009-03-06 12:11:29

and my linux system time is
    [root@localhost A-Tutor]# date
    Fri Mar 6 12:11:29 MYT 2009

but when user take the exam and submit the date and time is 1 day behind. I tried to change Time Zone offset to 12 and also -12 but the result is the same.

    Appreciate if you can help.

    Regards
    A.A

Re: Time is NOT correct with System Time

ATutor time is based on the server's time. Use the Linux date() function to set the server's date.

Re: Time is NOT correct with System Time

    Thank you,
As I posted earlier, the date and time is correct on my linux system and also is shows the same in ATUTOR->SYSTEM PREFERENCE menu.

But when user takes the exam, the time is out..

It shows correctly when user takes the exam, but when the reviewer login to mark the exam the date is out by 1 day but the time is correct.

Both users - "SET TIME OFFSET" in preference = 0

    Can you help?
    Thank you

Re: Time is NOT correct with System Time

I can not reproduce the problem. The date that shows for the person marking is the same as the date displayed for the test taker on the demo site.

See if you can reproduce the problem there. If you can, describe it so we can reproduce it.
