  Moved host and now get blank page for login

  Things to describe:
  Operating system ATutor is installed on - Linux
  ATutor version -1.5.2
  Patch #s applied -
  ATutor theme name -
  PHP version -5.2.3
  MySQL version -2.11.8.1
  Webserver & version - None, blank page
  Copies of error messages -
  Changes to default settings -
  Web browser being used - Firefox, IE
  ...and anything else relevant -
  
  Hi,
  I moved webhosting and now only get a blank page, wondering if I missed something.
  
  I have:
  1. Transferred files
  2. Back up and then import database
  3. Update config.inc.php with new db name, db user and content directory.
  
  Anything else I should have done?

  in my experience a completely blank page normally means that ATutor can't connect to the database, so you should doublecheck these settings.
  
  developers: maybe a small error message when ATutor can't connect to the db would have been nice? makes debugging easier..

  You were correct, couldn't connect to DB and yes an error message would be nice.
  
  Turns out that my previous host used "local host" as db host but new hosting provider needs full address.
  
  All fixed now.
