    Problems upgrading to 161

I requested web host (SiteGround) to update aTutor from 1.5 to 1.6.1. I am now not able to use aTutor due to multiple problems. I reported the following:
" logged in to using my email address and password - other than the Administrator login and password - which I have done in the past. There is is a lot of Warning information at the top to the screen that opens - I have tried to capture a screen shot of it. Also, when I get in and click on the courses - it opens to "Page not found". I was not able to paste the screen shot - but below is the info at the top of the screen after logging in:

Warning: opendir(/home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/content//feeds) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php on line 42

Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php on line 44

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php:42) in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/include/header.inc.php on line 17

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php:42) in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/include/classes/Language/Language.class.php on line 123

2008-12-08 09:34pm by elearni8 - Another observation is that I do not see the new features that should be available with the upgrade to aTutor 1.6.1. Example is the feature "Gradebook".

Prior to the upgrade the modules SCORM packages and Hello World were installed. Now they are not available.

They advise:I believe that I have managed to fix the issue with the warnings. Please check your application carefully and update this ticket with more information on whether you keep receiving those.

As to the modules, I am afraid that you will have to re-install any modules that are not present. The versions you have been using are not compliant with the new version of the application which causes the issue.

    Current:
I tried to re-install the modules since the upgrade and not able to do so. After clicking Install for both SCORM Packages and Hello World, I got the following screen:Warning: opendir(/home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/content//feeds) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php on line 42

Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php on line 44

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/mods/_standard/rss_feeds/module.php:42) in /home/elearni8/public_html/atutor/admin/modules/add_new.php on line 24

    Your help is appreciated.

    Re: Problems upgrading to 1.6.1

First read the upgrade instructions. It explains about modules. Also read the requirements.

Tell your provider about the problem. This is more likely a server issue.
