  Installation Error Step 2 MySQL version 4110

  Details below:
  
  Operating system ATutor is installed on - Linux
  Apache 2.2.9
  ATutor version - 1.6.2
  PHP version - 5.26
  MySQL version - 4.1.10
  Web browser being used - Mozilla firefox 2.0.0.18
  error messages -
  
  Error* MySQL version 4.1.10-standard was detected. ATutor requires version 4.1.10 or later.
  
  What could the problem be??
  The server i'm on meets the minimum requirements, and i've used the same database and others with success for different applications, cms...
  
  Any help would be appreciated.

  You could try commenting out the line that generates the error message. Perhaps MySQL is not identifying itself properly.
