Created 1 test course and getting the following message when I go to the Course Section in the admin login:

Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/mw300063/public_html/7toolsworkshop.com/tutor/admin/courses.php on line 105

And "1" course appears, but I cannot access it in anyway?

I'm getting other mysql errors on the user side as well, as soon as they login.

    ----------

We did a cpanel installation of atutor from mewebhost.

Any guidance/suggestions of what we may be doing wrong, or can do to resolve these db errors would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Katie

    Re: mysql errors on courses

Do you get the same problem with the default theme. Corporate blue is for 1.6+.

    Re: mysql errors on courses

Yes, I just changed the theme to Blumin, as default, and I get the same error message.

    Re: mysql errors on courses

have you created any courses yet?

it seesm like it can not access the courses or course_cats tables.

    Have you modified anything?

    Re: mysql errors on courses

    Thanks.

I switched to the "default" theme, went to "Browse Courses" and now I have even more errors, as follows:

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/mw300063/public_html/7toolsworkshop.com/tutor/include/html/browse.inc.php on line 21

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mw300063/public_html/7toolsworkshop.com/tutor/include/html/browse.inc.php:21) in /home/mw300063/public_html/7toolsworkshop.com/tutor/include/header.inc.php on line 17

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/mw300063/public_html/7toolsworkshop.com/tutor/include/html/browse.inc.php:21) in /home/mw300063/public_html/7toolsworkshop.com/tutor/include/classes/Language/Language.class.php on line 123

I have not changed anything, or touched anything in the db, if that's what you mean. The only thing I changed was the header image in that Corporate_Blue theme I originally had.

    Re: mysql errors on courses

Seems to be a general problem connecting to the database. Check the include/config.inc.php file to be sure the mysql login/pass and location are still correct.

If you changed you site password recently, your mysql password may have also changed.

In any case, I'd suggest getting upgraded to a more current version of ATutor.

    Re: mysql errors on courses

    ok Greg,

Thanks, I'll try to download/install a newer version and then see what happens. This one was autoloaded by our hosting company....so, I may be back! ;)

    Thanks so much.
