    apache modrewrite

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
Operating system ATutor is installed on -
    ATutor version - 1.6.1
    Patch #s applied -
    ATutor theme name - BPO_live
    PHP version -5.2.0-8+etch11
    MySQL version -5.0.32-Debian_7etch6-log
    Webserver & version -apache 2.2.3-4+etch5

    Hi
I can't enable apache mod_rewrite in System Preferences. The "enable" radio button is not active. Is there something that I should install for apache or do some changes in configuration files to get apache mod_rewrite active?
Does it need .httaccess in the ATutor root directory?
Please explain it for me all the essentials step by step.
I will be appreciated if answer me as soon as possible.

    Re: apache mod_rewrite

mod_rewrite needs to be enabled. See the various documentation that describes how.
