Problem Unapple to create import directory

    Hi,

I have already read other threads about this problem, but either of the answers seems to work for me. All my files and folders are now set with the permission 777, but when I try to import a content package (made in Reload Editor vers. 2.5.5) I get the error:

    "The following errors occurred:
    Unable to create import directory."

How do I solve this problem?

    Cheers!

Operating system ATutor is installed on - Linux 2.6
    ATutor version - 1.6.1
    Patch #s applied - 0001 to 0012
ATutor theme name - BPO Olive
    PHP version - PHP 5
    MySQL version - 5.0.32
    Webserver & version - Apache 1.3
Web browser being used - IE7

Re: Problem: Unapple to create import directory

Are you able to upload files in other place in ATutor. Like the File Manager?

Re: Problem: Unapple to create import directory

In the content/ directory is there a directory named "import", are there other subdirectories in content/? Are the subdirectory permissions set to be writable?

Re: Problem: Unapple to create import directory

Yes, in the content/ directory there is a directory named import. Additionally, the content directory has the following subdirectories: backups, chat, feeds, file_storage, patcher and profile_pictures. All subdirectories have permission 777.
