Hi,
I've got one use who I'd like to make an administrator. I'm a Super Admin, but don't see an option for making other admins. Is this possible?

Geez...just re-read my post. Sorry for the gibberish. What I meant for the topic was "How to promote..." Of course, since I need this, I guess I am hot to do it.
I also meant to ask if there is a feature for making other _users_ into admins.

sure did. It doesn't say anything about promoting existing users to admins. I was hoping someone on this forum had a patch or trick they used to accomplish this.

You can't turn existing users into administrators, you can only create new administrators. I suppose Harris meant, see the handbook section on creating administrators.

Right. I also looked into just moving the existing users in question over to the admins table in the database, but it looks like admins can't be instructors.

An admin can be instructors, sort of. Accessing a course through the admins Courses screen, an admin is given instructor access to the course.
