    some problems with language

    I have a new problem. I have worked with atutor since 3 months ago but since last week there is a problem .I use farsi language but instead of farsi words there are ????? like picture I attached.
    Things to describe:
    Operating system ATutor is installed on -
    ATutor version -1.6
    ATutor theme name -
    PHP version -5.2.5
    MySQL version -
    Webserver & version -
    Copies of error messages -
    Changes to default settings -
    Web browser being used -
    ...and anything else relevant -

    The ????? is probably the result of content not being converted to UTF-8 when you upgraded, or it was converted but you are using a windows-1250 Farsi language pack.You should be using a UTF-8 version of the Farsi language pack.


    From what you have described, it sounds like the conversion utility (a third party application) may be having trouble with conversion of Farsi to UTF-8. I suggest you try exporting courses from the old installation, using the UTF-8 conversion module to convert the content, then importing the courses back into a fresh installation of ATutor.
