Hello,
I am wondering if Atutor's mysql DataBase could store data in Greek language.
I stored data in Greek (category_names etc).
I am trying to retrieve these data through java code that i'm using my web page but i have enconding problem.
what do u suggest?

When we retrieve the data from the database using java code, an enconding problem occures. Also when we execute a query from mysql query browser (MySql GUI Tools) the same problem appears. The enconding of the database is the default of the installation.
When we use PHP code and we declare the enconding as ISO8859-7 we get the correct results. We don't get the correct results if we do the same thing through Java.

UTF-8 was introduced in ATutor 1.6.
Install the UTF-8 Greek language pack, after which content created while the system is viewed in UTF-8 greek will be created in UTF-8.
