    Groups

I am teaching private lessons. Is it possible to create one course and make each student a group of one?
Can I then give different access to content to each student?
If not is there a way of doing this without creating new courses for each student?

    Re: Groups

You could create groups as one student, but currently there is no way to assign content to a specific group.

    Re: Groups

Pretty well everything except content (tests, forums etc.) can be assigned to groups separately.

However, if you do need to give them separate content, the only option I see is creating several courses and using backups for moving that content along with tests and everything else between them.
Not so elegant, but usable unless you have too much students.

    Re: Groups

    Thank you for your replies.

I don't need to give them different content the problem is if one student starts before another I would need to open up content packages at different times.

Maybe bouncing from a couple of courses will work.
