    Re: Installing Patch

    Hi,

Can you provide more details? As I understand, you were installing patch on ATutor 1.6.1. Which patch you selected to install? Can you attach a screen shot with the given message and a screen shot that brought you to this message?

    Thanks.

    Re: Installing Patch

Hi, which patch did you try to install?

How did you hit the error? You just selected one patch and clicked "install" button and hit the error? Or there are other extra steps?

    Thanks.

    Re: Installing Patch

What webserver are you using? IIS or Apache maybe?

    Re: Installing Patch

OK, found the reason. This error happens when mysql is in strict mode.

As patcher doesn't work in your case, I cannot send you the fix by publishing a patch. I've attached the modified "Patch.class.php" here. Please download and overwrite the same file in folder "[your_atutor_root_folder]/mods/_standard/patcher/classes".

    It should fix your problem.

Oh, yep, after talking with my colleague, it's because the upload folder is temporarily locked. So couldn't attach the file for now.

    Sorry about the inconvenience.

I faced the same problem too.
But the problem is solved after replacing the Patch.class.php file.

    Thank you!

May I know will you replace this file in later stable version?

    Re: Installing Patch

This fix will be in next version release, hopefully end of this year. There's no more release for 1.6.1.

    Sorry about the inconvenience.
