    Installation Question

    Hi

Can anyone help, I have extracted the Atutor files to my webbased directory for my website but I can't work out how to do this next part of the instructions below. Does anyone know how I find out what the path to atutor would be? I have extracted the files to the hdocs directory in my website if this helps. Any help would be really appreciated!

Once extracted, an ATutor directory will be created. Open a web browser and enter the address to your installation, http://your_server.com/path_to_atutor/ATutor/, then follow the step-by-step instructions.

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
Operating system ATutor is installed on -microsoft
    ATutor version -61
    ATutor theme name - unsure
    PHP version - unsure
    MySQL version -latest
    Webserver & version -
    Copies of error messages -
    Changes to default settings -
Web browser being used - aol
    ...and anything else relevant -
    Thanks

    Re: Installation Question

If it's htdocs/ATutor, then it should be
    http://localhost/ATutor

    Re: Installation Question

Thanks for your help. I have tried this as:

    liketolearn.co.uk/htdocs/Atutor

but it just says that the page has not been displayed. I have extracted the files into this directory but am wondering if I have done this correctly, should it come up with a message when it creates the directory?

    Re: Installation Question

    Hello,

i believe you don't need the htdocs in there, so for instance, try
    liketolearn.co.uk/Atutor

In this case, your link should be
