    reinstall

    Have you tried reinstalling?

What version of ATutor are you referring to?

What version of php are you using?

Uncheck the read only checkbox on the atutor directory if it is checked. Right click on the atutor folder and choose properties.

The installer does all the configuration, and places values in include/config.inc.php. Information about installing and configuring ATutor is available on the atutor.ca site

What you have describes sound like an apache configuration problem.

    maybe....

You didn't configure the apache file:httpd.conf,
    set the default file:index.php,ex:

    httpd.conf:

    DirectoryIndex index.html index.html.var index.php
