    Re: problems using [pid] [nid]

Is this part of a theme? You can look at other theme include/header.inc.php files to see how its done.

i hate to continually expose my ignorance, but I thought the code worked like the glossary [?] [/?]and could be used on content pages to move users through the course. no, huh?

    Re: problems using [pid] [nid]

    Ah! Like this:

    [php]

    <a href="[pid]">Previous</a> <a href="[nid]">Next</a>

    [/php]

Or if you are using the visual editor, paste, in lower case, the [pid] and [nid] tags into the link tool "Link URL" field

Thanks for pointing out the problem. I see the Handbook mentions these tags in uppercase. They should be lowercase

I have the same problem when I add the [pid] tag in my Wink flash presentation. Do I need to add a target for it to work?

    Thanks!

    Re: problems using [pid] [nid]

Ah, I see it's within the php script. I guess it will not work from a .swf?

    Thanks!
