    Course creation picture insertion

If you are asking for help, provide lots of detail so problems can be reproduced.

    Things to describe:
    operating system - unix
    version of ATutor - 1.5.5
    versions of php - 4 & 5
    version of mysq l - ?
    webserver & version -
    copies of error messages -
    changes to default settings -
web browser being used - firefox
    and anything else relevant -

I am a new user trying to get an example page up for my society. My question is: while in the course creation page, with the visual editor open, how do I reference the url to get to my home machine. I have tried different methods to get photos into the content, but have thus far been unsuccessful. Need a simple instruction on how to do this.

    Re: Course creation picture insertion

    hi jmead,

this is what I would have done:

    1. create the course without images in the description first.
    2. go to a content page in the course (under content navigation), edit it, open the file manager and upload the images there.
    3. insert them into your content page with the "insert" button (NOT using the visual editor).

this will give you the IMG SRC code for the pictures, copy that code, or only the URL (the content of SRC=""), go to magage -> properties again, where you can use the code you just copied to refer to your images.
